Secara umum akun Paypal dibagi menjadi dua yaitu akun Paypal Unverified dan Verified. Akun Paypal Unverified adalah akun yang diperoleh setelah melakukan pendaftaran secara gratis melalui website resmi Paypal, sedangkan Akun Paypal Verified adalah Akun Paypal Unverified yang diupgrade dengan cara memasukan data Kartu Kredit/ Debit sebagai dana cadangan.

Perbedaan Akun Unverified dan Verified

Akun Paypal Unverified hanya dapat digunakan untuk membayar atau mengirim dana dengan limit $100, serta dapat menerima uang dari account PayPal lain dengan limit terbatas.
